Raised on our organic Devon pastures at Dalditch Farm, our lamb feeds on lush meadow grasses, imparting a sweet and succulent flavour to the meat. Managing our sheep holistically allows the wildlife sharing the grassland to thrive alongside our flock, enabling the fields to flourish.
Our system of mob grazing with sheep, cattle, and poultry ensures that the soil and pastures regenerate efficiently and that the animals receive the best nutrients from the grasses. The quality pasture also means our ewes’ milk is top-notch, contributing to the exceptional flavour of our succulent lamb.
Our mutton, sourced from 100% grass-fed sheep that are two years or older, has a stronger and deeper flavour due to the maturation of the meat. Mutton contains more fat than lamb, making it perfect for slow cooking and great eating.
